Paper
Masking Tapes
Masking tape, viewed as a typically mundane product, is available in a range of different grades suited to a variety of applications. Whether you need to just mask off areas for painting, temporary holding, bundling, core tabbing, or color coding, there is a masking tape made for you. Flatback Tapes
These tapes are heavier and more stable than masking tapes and are available in many different grades. They can be used for carton sealing (some that comply with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages), packaging, silk screening, picture framing, splicing, tabbing, and core starting. There are also printable flatback tapes and colored flatback tapes that may be used for packaging, bookbinding, color coding, and decorative edging.
Film
Carton Sealing Tapes
The standard in box closure today is Carton Sealing tapes. These are made in many different grades with different adhesives to fit your specific applications. These film tapes are available in polypropylene, polyester, hot melt rubber, acrylic, and natural rubber adhesives to meet your individual needs. Some are even manufactured to work in extreme cold (freezer grade) or extreme heat. Just let us know your specific needs, and we will match you with the best choice for you.
Filament Tapes
These are reinforced strapping tapes (mostly polypropylene) used for bundling, strapping, palletizing, and temporary holding when strength is the major need. Many different grades are manufactured for different uses, reach out to us for details.
Splicing Tapes
Many different substrates and different adhesives will determine what product works best for your application. We carry polyester tapes with silicone, acrylic, and rubber adhesives. For splicing siliconized coated surfaces, only silicone adhesive coated tapes will work. We have many different thicknesses of film and adhesive available. All of these products are available in clear and colored options for your specific needs. We also carry polypropylene substrates with rubber and acrylic adhesives. One of our most popular products is a UPVC red splicing tape for in-line web splicing for Flexographic printing applications. This product is able to handle heat applications well.
